Reason: This species is only known from one occurrence in New Mexico which is the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge. This gives the species an extremelt low Extent of Occurrence and Area of Occupancy in New Mexico. Furthermore, despite extensive surveying for bees from 2002 until now at the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge this species has only been recorded a single time which was in 2012. While the threats to this species are currently unknown there are several plausible threats at the Sevilleta that could feasibly threaten this species continued survival. As a result, this poorly known species is currently assessed as S1 in New Mexico however, a reassesment should be done if more information becomes available.
