Reason: This species has only ever been recorded twice in New Mexico and has not been seen since 1986 although it is unlikely that much surveying has occurred in that time. This gives the species an Extent of Occurrence and Area of Occupancy of just 2km2 in New Mexico. Furthermore, the species is only known from two occurrences although increased survey effort is likely to increase all three of these numbers. The species also has many potential threats based on its known life history and habitat associations which may greatly affect its continued survival. As a result, this poorly known species is currently assessed as S1 in New Mexico however, a reassesment should be done if more information becomes available.
