| Reason: This species is known from the Gila region of Arizona and New Mexico where it has a relatively small Extent of Occurrence and Area of Occupancy of 3,650km2 and 28km2 respectively. Additionally, this species is known from just nineteen occurrences and some of the threats to the species such as drought are very widespread and could effect large portions of the species range at once. Due to the threats to this species there is an inferred continuing decline in the extent and quality of this species habitat. As a result, this species is currently assessed as S2 in New Mexico however, a reassessment should be done if more information becomes available. |
