| Reason: Ochlodes yuma anasazi also known as the Rio Grande Gorge Yuma Skipper is found along a small section of the Rio Grande Gorge near Questa New Mexico. Population surveys done in 2017 estimated a population size of 30-40 individuals. There are a wide variety of potential threats to this subspecies and monitoring and managing of these threats will be crucial to maintain long term viability of this population.
