Reason: This species has an extremely small Area of Occupancy and Extent of Occurrence both of which are just 2km2 when calculated off of data from GBIF.org. Furthermore, the species is only known from two occurrences and faces a large number of threats and is known to be declining in many parts of its range. The species is considered a Species of Greatest Conservation Need in New Mexico and had a positive 90 day finding for a federal listing.
