| Reason: This species has not been seen since its description is 1895 and is only known from the type locality. This gives it an Extent of Occurrence and Area of Occupancy of 1km2 and is only known from one occurrence. However, seeing the species has not been seen in over 100 years it may not even be extent still. The life history and threats to this species are unknown however, many other Perdita are threatened by the rapid warming and drying of the American southwest. As a result, this species is currently assessed as S1 in New Mexico however, a reassesment should be done if more information becomes available. |
